EMP over America: The Fallout

Glenn Beck’s news site The Blaze explores the possibility of an EMP attack over the Untied States. The results? Too horrible to imagine:

Multiple senior U.S. officials, lawmakers, military personnel and intelligence analysts say the Obama administration needs to take this threat seriously and prepare in the event an attack that would set the U.S. back to pre-industrial times and leave us vulnerable to enemy states.

James Woolsey, who served as CIA director from 1993 to 1995, told “For The Record” that 9/11 was a wake-up call that enemies of the United States were looking to launch massive attacks.

He said senior government officials began thinking outside the box and questioned what “if the government in North Korea or in Iran really thought that the world would be so much a better place and that they themselves would be so much more likely to go to heaven if they could just kill as many Americans as possible?”

“These guys lusted after massive destruction,” Woolsey told “For the Record.”

North Korea presents that very real threat. In 2011, President Barack Obama announced that the U.S. would shift the focus of its military might from the Middle East to Asia.

North Korea is a nation with political and military leaders insane enough to try something like that, should they believe it could damage the United States beyond repair. Indeed, a full-scale EMP attack in the atmosphere over the continental United States would send us back to the Stone Age. Electronics, computer technology, everything would be completely destroyed. The possibility that every single nuclear reactor in the United States could go into a meltdown would make most of this region of the world completely uninhabitable. Truly, we are talking about an end of civilization moment if ever there was one.

But is there the chance something this deadly could happen? What’s the likelihood?

“A rogue state would not need a long-range ballistic missile to deliver a nuclear warhead,” their report stated. “Even short-range ballistic missiles carrying an EMP device or a nuclear warhead launched from a ship off the U.S. coast could impact millions. Today, over 30 countries, including Iran and North Korea, possess ballistic missile capabilities.”

Michael Del Rosso, an engineer and Pentagon consultant who has worked with the EMP commission, described the findings in the unclassified 2004 and 2008 and noted that the commission published five reports, three were classified and two were unclassified.

Del Rosso, who also participated in confidential briefings on nuclear threats to America, said “this is what national states like Iran and North Korea have spent billions of dollars developing this capability and they’re doing it for a reason. And they say the reason is the fact that they see the United States as their primary adversary.”

The capability is there. The hatred is there. But the United States has plenty of nuclear submarines all over the world ready to rain down hell on a nation or group of nations foolish enough to EMP the United States. It would spell the total end of their nations should they launch an assault of that magnitude against us. This isn’t to say it’s out of the realm of possibility, only that there are many people in those countries who like them intact and don’t to start the apocalypse. Of course, I believe there’s more forces at work in the world than mere human beings and their flawed, vain, and evil plans.

US Army labels another Christian ministry as a hate-group

How typical. There may be plenty of Christians in the United States military, but the actual policy- and rule-makers are the same simple, tiresome anti-Christian, anti-conservative, anti-life imbeciles who are salivating over the opportunity to rid themselves of this nuisance. Their future, indeed, their way of life, depends on it:

Several dozen U.S. Army active duty and reserve troops were told last week that the American Family Association, a well-respected Christian ministry, should be classified as a domestic hate group because the group advocates for traditional family values.

The briefing was held at Camp Shelby in Mississippi and listed the AFA alongside domestic hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam.

A soldier who attended the briefing contacted me and sent me a photograph of a slide show presentation that listed AFA as a domestic hate group. Under the AFA headline is a photograph of Westboro Baptist Church preacher Fred Phelps holding a sign reading “No special law for f***.”

American Family Association has absolutely no affiliation with the controversial church group known for picketing the funerals of American servicemembers.

“I had to show Americans what our soldiers are now being taught,” said the soldier who asked not to be identified. “I couldn’t just let this one pass.”

It’s truly sad to see the military being reduced to the progressive play-thing it’s now devolved into. The elevation of diversity to the highest of goals, the worship of the female soldier, the psychopathic hostility towards anything remotely anti-homosexual, the continued assault on Christianity, all have combined together to produce the ultimate stick-in-the-eye to conservatives. Yes, the Leftist elite in this country have decreed no bastion for normal Christian American men will remain. Anything and everything that resembles the productive and defensive powers of this nation must be stripped down, marginalize, humiliated, and ultimately repurposed towards deviancy, perversion, and oppression.

Make no mistake about it: the elites want to do away with the military as we know it and replace it with something more easily manipulated, something….less restrained. Or perhaps, more obedient, is the proper descriptor? We all know that women are much more likely to obey an authority figure than men are, and minorities with a hearty dependence on the government teet will do just about anything it takes to keep the juice flowing. So what’s the best way to utterly transform that once-invincible and unashamed bastion of American masculinity? Diversify it, hobble it, and humiliate it. Any man with self-respect will learn the deal real quick, that this is no longer an institution worthy of the name. This is absolutely not to say there aren’t plenty of good men in the military who signed up to serve their country and have done so honorably, only that they are now the enemy. They have been for some time, it’s only lately that the truth has slowly started eking out.
